I think that these novels would have a powerful effect on young whites who rarely read if they were turned into movies. Of course, without the resources of Hollywood or anyone in the movie industry, that is unlikely anytime soon. However, there is an increasing ability for those without large resources to make animated movies. The animation is becoming more sophisticated all the time. Imagine if these guys produced animated versions of the books. The movies would go viral in short order.
